Mostly fair and sunny conditions are currently across our islands. We expect increasing chances for showers with an approaching tropical wave later today into Friday. Although most of the shower activity is expected across the Leeward Islands, few scattered showers are anticipated across our islands (SVG) into Friday and lingering into Saturday.

A weak low level trough is expected to cross the region late Saturday and the Atlantic High Pressure System should rebuild across our area Sunday with possible isolated showers.

Gentle easterly breeze (10 - 20km/h) is now expected this afternoon increasing and backing to east north-easterly tonight. By Friday afternoon, wind direction should veer to east south-easterly while decreasing to gentle again. Moderate to fresh breeze from the east to east north east should prevail Saturday and Sunday.

Barometric Pressure could range 1015mb - 1018mb until Saturday rising to the higher end by Sunday.

Expect slight seas in open water, with swells on west and east coasts between 0.6m and 1.2m overnight. Wave heights could fall further to less than 0.6m appearing smooth on west coasts late Friday. Gradual increase is expected overnight Saturday and Sunday.

A patch of slight haze may be noticeable this afternoon, but generally good visibility can be expected, but another plume of dust is possible by Friday night.
