A shallow wake cloud stretched off the west coast of Barbados this afternoon with few isolated showers on the south-eastern coast of mainland St.Vincent. Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant, but a few showers are possible overnight.

A weak trough on south-western edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System could affect our islands Wednesday evening, as a  frontal boundary induces a trough across our islands…few scattered showers are possible. Late Thursday into Friday, some showers should converge across our area as another trough crosses our area with moisture support at the mid-levels.

Moderate to fresh north-easterly breeze (25 - 40km/h) can be expected overnight. Over the next few days, backing wind direction with fresh north-north easterly breeze can be expected during night-time hours with some veering and reduction to moderate (20-30km/h) breeze during afternoons.

Slight (0.6m - 1.2m) seas on the west coasts and slight to moderate (1.2m – 2.5m) seas on the east coasts can be expected overnight. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal swells especially on the east coasts… A temporary fall in wave heights is possible Wednesday night.

Mean Sea Level pressure should range 1016mb - 1018mb overnight, dipping slightly during Wednesday but rising Thursday as the Atlantic High Pressure builds on the west and east of the Atlantic Ocean.

Slight hazy conditions are expected across our area overnight, becoming patchy by Friday.
