The Atlantic high pressure system will continues to maintain brisk easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean Islands during the next few days. However, low level clouds moving with the wind flow are likely to generate occasional cloudy skies and brief showers.

By Saturday, moisture and instability associated with an approaching shear-line will move over the Southern Windward Islands. As a result, cloudy skies accompanying light to moderate showers can be expected.

East north-easterly to Easterly winds ranging between 20 to 45 km/h (12 to 28 mph), with occasional gusts are projected.

Moderate seas are forecast during the next 24 hours with swells peaking near 2.5 meters (8.0 feet). Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution. By Friday, a further increase to near 3.0 meters (10.0 feet) is expected.

No Saharan dust haze is expected during this forecast period.
