The Atlantic High Pressure System is across the region and cloud patches within its wind flow could bring a few showers across our islands by evening/tonight.By Tuesday, a weak low-level shear-line could result in occasional cloudy skies and a few scattered showers across our area, shifting southwards of the Grenadine Islands by Wednesday.

A couple troughs should be crossing the islands Thursday into Friday.

Backing direction can be expected tonight and north-easterly moderate to fresh (20 – 40km/h) breeze should be across our area by late Monday. 

Slight to moderate sea conditions, ranging 0.6 – 1.2m on west coasts and 1.2 – 2.0m on east coasts of St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) are expected to continue for next couple days. Marine advisories may be issued towards mid-week, as wave heights should start rising by Tuesday night in response to increased wind speed on the waters. Swells peaking near 1.5m on west coasts and peaking near 2.5m on east coasts of SVG can be expected by Wednesday. 

Barometric readings should continue between 1014 and 1017mb. This week, low pressure areas are expected to deepen on the western and eastern sides of the Atlantic Ocean, inducing couple trough and shearlines across the island chain. 

The thin film of Saharan dust should be cleared by tonight, and no significant dust concentrations are expected over next few days.
