The Atlantic High Pressure System is dominant across our area, but couple weak troughs induced by a low pressure system in the Eastern Atlantic are propagating across the island chain. A few showers can be expected tonight with brisk trade-winds and occasional strong gusts. Occasional showers are expected to continue Friday and throughout the weekend.

The north-easterly fresh (30 – 40km/h) breeze with occasional strong gusts should be temporarily decreased to moderate (20-35km/h) during Sunday.

Marine advisories are being issued, as sea conditions are currently moderate with north-easterly swells peaking near 1.8m on west coast and near 2.5m on east coasts of SVG. Some deterioration is expected with moderate to rough (1.8 – 3.0m) swells possible across SVG late Friday; possibly retreating during Sunday.

Barometric readings should range between 1014 and 1018mb across our islands for the next few days.

Apart from a thin film of dust concentration across our area on Saturday, no significant dust concentrations are expected over next few days.
