Overnight, hazy conditions could give way to scattered showers as instability lingers across our area.

The instability and cloudiness at the mid-to upper levels across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) should be decreasing late Friday. At lower levels, the Atlantic High Pressure System should be rebuilding across SVG by weekend. A patch of Saharan dust is reducing visibility across our area and slight haze may thicken during Friday before thinning out by Sunday.

There is also dry air approaching at the mid levels associated with the dust patch, which should also inhibit shower activity. The thinning of the patch, should allow for scattered showers across SVG as moisture converges on the south-western edge of the High Pressure circulation.

Wind speeds are gradually increasing with moderate (20 - 35km/h) breeze occasionally varying between east north-east and east south-east with weak lower level troughs.

On the west coasts, sea-swells should range between 0.6m and 1.0m while east coasts can expect sea-swells between 1.0m and 1.8m originating from north north-east and becoming north-easterly late Friday.

Barometric readings should range 1012mb and 1016mb across our area.
