Hazy conditions are slightly thinned out and low level cloud patches, are bringing scattered showers to our islands. Mainland St.Vincent had occasional moderate to isolated heavy showers during this afternoon, creating small ponding in few locations. Moisture behind the axis of the broad tropical/easterly wave crossing the islands could bring more scattered showers across our islands by Friday afternoon and Saturday.

Between tropical waves, moderate haze should temporarily return on Saturday alternating with showers. Meanwhile, a mid to upper-level trough deepening over the Greater and Lesser Antilles, could occasionally support shower activity across the Eastern Caribbean with the next tropical wave quickly approaching the islands with a wind-surge. Across St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), scattered showers could increase during Sunday and isolated thunderstorm activity possible during the night. Showers should decrease by Monday and replaced by hazy conditions.

East south easterly gentle to moderate (15 - 35 km/h) breeze should become   easterly Friday afternoon as a broad tropical wave crosses the region, returning to east south-easterly during Saturday. Occasional strong gusts (near 45km/h) are possible over the weekend with the approach of a wind-surge.

Slight to moderate sea conditions are across our islands, with easterly sea-swells ranging 0.6m to 1.2m on the west coasts and 1.2m to 1.8m on the east coasts. Wave heights should be increasing overnight Friday to range 1.0 to 1.8 on west coasts and up to 2.2m on east coasts during Saturday. Moderate sea conditions should peak near 2.5m on east coasts during Monday before retreating by nightfall.
