Pockets of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorm activity should continue tonight, as mid-upper level moisture enhances the tropical wave crossing the island chain. Instability could temporarily decrease during Friday, but a trough is quickly trailing with a chance of showers and thunderstorm activity by afternoon, decreasing during the night. Instability could linger across our area during Saturday triggering showers, gradually decreasing by Sunday. 

Variable wind directions tonight, with light and gentle (less than 20km/h) breeze

should increase to moderate (20 -30 km/h) by Friday morning with a southerly direction. A turn to the east north-east is expected during Sunday night.

Slight to moderate (1.0 – 1.5m) sea conditions with easterly swells are expected across SVG by Friday.
