Instability lingers across mainland and northern-most Grenadine Islands with showers due to a shearline. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely to continue across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this afternoon. Occasional showers are possible with a low level trough during Friday, followed by a weak tropical wave Saturday and trailing moisture during Sunday.

Gentle to moderate (10 - 25 km/h) east south-easterly breeze should turn easterly tonight,

temporarily increasing to moderate (20 – 30 km/h) while turning north-easterly during Friday. Directions should vary during Saturday, with a gradual increase speeds during the night.

Northerly swells ranging 1.0 to 2.0 m continue to propagate towards our islands, from Low Pressure area in the North Atlantic Ocean. Slight to moderate (1.0 - 1.5m) conditions are on west coasts and moderate (1.5 - 2.5m) conditions on east coasts of SVG (in open water). Wave heights should retreat during Saturday, but expected to rise again next week.
