An upper level trough is favourably positioned over the Eastern Caribbean and is likely to enhance low level moisture across the islands. A few showers are forecast for this afternoon.

Tonight into the weekend, the chance for showers increases as a tropical wave moves closer to the island chain, and as favourable upper level environment persists, showers and a high chance of isolated thunderstorms are forecast Saturday into Sunday.  Moisture will linger into Monday.

Generally, a moderate easterly wind flow at 20km/h to 30km/h will be experienced today into Sunday, increasing to slightly fresh breeze (approximately 35km/h) around Sunday night into Monday.

Moderate sea conditions remains on the east coast with northerly swells peaking at 2.5m in open water. An improvement in sea conditions is likely from Sunday.  Haze intrusion around Sunday morning will thin out by Sunday night.
