A low-level trough is crossing the islands with weak unstable conditions triggering a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Meanwhile the Atlantic High Pressure System is re-establishing itself, pumping brisk winds and pushing a patch of Saharan dust across the islands which could also limit shower activity.

Fresh (30 – 40 km/h) north-easterly trades across our islands could become strong (up to 50 km/h with higher gusts) by Monday night, returning to fresh by Wednesday afternoon.

Moderate (1.5 – 2.5 m) sea conditions across SVG, with east north-easterly swells are expected to rise and become rough by Monday night,

possibly ranging between 2.5 and 3.5m during Tuesday…Marine warnings may be necessary during this period…Wave heights are expected to return to moderate by Wednesday night. Reduced visibility across our islands should improve by Tuesday, as the patch of Saharan dust moves out of our area.
