Visibility is occasionally reduced with haze due to patches of Saharan dust of varying intensity with no significant shower activity. A weak trough could dip southward during Saturday, with increasing cloudiness by night-fall and a ‘dry spell’ across parts of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) could be broken with a few scattered showers during Sunday.

A dry-spell is a succession of at least 7 consecutive dry-days and a dry day is a 24 hour period during which the rainfall total is less than 1 mm.

Moderate (20 – 30 km/h) south-easterly breeze could become gentle at times, turning north-easterly Friday night

with the approach of a weak trough. Wind direction should turn north- easterly again late Sunday.

Slight to moderate (1.0 - 2.0 m) sea conditions with north-easterly swells on our east coasts. Wave heights could fall during Friday, to range 0.5 to 1.0m on west coasts and 1.0 to 1.5 m on east coasts, but start rising late Saturday with northerly swells across SVG.
