Weak instability on the southern edge of the Atlantic High Pressure System could result in a few showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) this afternoon into tonight. Meanwhile, Saharan dust concentration could thicken and intermix with shower activity to reduce visibility during Wednesday. Moderate to occasionally thick haze during Thursday should be thinning-out Friday, to allow a few showers across SVG.
Moderate to fresh (25 - 40 km/h) trades with varying direction should gradually decrease to moderate late Friday. Moderate (1.5 – 2.5 m) sea conditions with east northeasterly swells across our islands, could rise
during Wednesday with easterly swells ranging 1.5 to 2.0 m on west coasts and possibly near 3.0 m on east coasts of SVG by evening…Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal swells…Wave heights should start falling Thursday afternoon, becoming slight to moderate across SVG (1.2 – 2.0 m) by Friday night.
