Mostly fair conditions are forecast this afternoon, with a few showers later tonight ahead of approaching instability. Cloudy skies and brief showers are forecast for tomorrow. By Thursday, a tropical wave will be affecting the islands generating moderate showers across SVG from Thursday afternoon, with shower activity lingering into Friday morning.  

A plume of Saharan dust will begin to affect the region from Tuesday night, thickening across SVG from Wednesday. Small-craft operators and persons with respiratory concerns should be aware that visibility and air quality could be reduced, with PM2.5 levels nearing 16 µg/m3 and PM10 levels nearing 45 µg/ m3 during Wednesday. Further thickening is anticipated around Thursday night into Friday.

A predominantly moderate (15km/h – 35km/h) east north east to easterly (ENE-E) wind flow will move across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tonight into Wednesday morning, blowing generally from the East on Friday. Slight to moderate sea conditions, with swells peaking to 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts are forecast up to Wednesday, with a possible deterioration (2.5m) on the eastern coasts around Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
