Varying concentrations of Saharan dust will continue to move across the region during the next three days. A gradual thinning of the intrusion is anticipated into Wednesday across St Vincent & the Grenadines, increasing in thickness by late evening. Small craft operators and persons with respiratory concerns should continue to exercise caution for low visibility and poor air quality. There is a chance for a few isolated showers on the mainland early Wednesday and across the Grenadines during the evening. Early Thursday, instability ahead of a tropical wave could start affecting the islands with light occasional showers. By evening however, moderate showers and a low chance of isolated thunderstorms are likely to occur. These conditions are expected to persist into Friday.

Moderate to strong(25km/h – 40km/h) east north easterly (ENE) trades will move across the islands over the next few days with an east south easterly(ESE) flow anticipated for Thursday afternoon. A slight increase(near 45 km/h) is anticipated on Friday.

Moderate sea conditions with swells peaking to 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.5m on the eastern coasts are forecast during the next 12 hours. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells. An improvement (2.0m) is likely around Wednesday on the eastern coasts. Generally moderate conditions should return by Thursday afternoon.
