Partly cloudy skies, hazy and breezy conditions with a few isolated shallow showers are forecast during the next 48 hours across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Small-craft operators and persons with respiratory concerns should continue to exercise caution for reduced visibility and air-quality due to Saharan Dust. On Tuesday, a tropical wave will inch closer to the island chain resulting in scattered showers around Tuesday afternoon.

A decrease in wind speed will be noticeable from Sunday, blowing predominantly from the east at approximately 20km/h – 30km/h. A moderate (20km/h-30km/h) east south easterly (ESE) wind flow is anticipated on Monday, before returning to easterly and increasing in speed, approximately 35km/h with higher gust, by Tuesday morning.

An improvement in sea conditions are likely from Sunday evening, with swells peaking to 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts.
