Shallow cloud patches would advance across St. Vincent & the Grenadines over the next 48 hours under the influence of the Atlantic High pressure system. Moisture embedded within the winds may allow for some scattered showers across Tuesday, meanwhile a mid to upper-level trough draws nearer to the islands around nightfall. A few isolated showers are likely on Wednesday with fairer conditions expected on Thursday.

Gentle to fresh (~15 -30 km/h)east north easterly (ENE) trades will move across the islands over the next 48 hours. A decrease(10km/h- 25km/h) in wind speeds are likely around Thursday along with a change in the wind direction to east south easterly (ESE).

Slight to moderate sea conditions with swells peaking to 1.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts are forecast during the next 24 hours. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells especially on eastern coasts. A gradual improvement(1.0m - 1.5m) is anticipated from early Wednesday.

Varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze should persist over the next few days. Residents should exercise caution for reduced visibility and poor air quality.
