Elevated moisture level across the Eastern Caribbean this weekend increases the chance of cloudy skies, occasional light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This instability is associated with the passage of TS Josephine, as the storm makes its west north-west track north east of the Leeward Islands.

Model guidance is indicating a few moderate showers over the Grenadines during Saturday morning. As the day progress, the mainland is likely to receive some showers with possible isolated thunderstorms into Sunday morning. Although, a slight improvement is anticipated around Sunday afternoon, unstable conditions will continue to dominate from Sunday night into Monday as a tropical wave moves across the island chain, resulting in scattered showers.

A gentle to light wind speed (5km/h – 25km/h) will move across the islands over the weekend, increasing to a moderate flow (approximately 15km/h- 30km/h) from Sunday night.

Sea conditions will remain slight to moderate (1.0m -1.5m) over the weekend.
