A flash-flood watch is in effect for the southern Grenadines (Canouan, Mayreau, Palm Island, Petit St. Vincent and Union Island) until 6pm. Due to the already saturated nature of soils, residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should continue to exercise caution. A light wind regime would be dominant across St Vincent and the Grenadines over the next few days. In addition to this, instability associated with tropical waves would influence the weather pattern across the islands.

South easterly gentle to moderate (15kmh- 30km/h) trades will move across the islands up to Tuesday before decreasing(10-20km/h) in speed from Wednesday. The winds would shift to north east to a south easterly direction from the middle of the week onward.

Sea conditions are currently slight to moderate (1.0m-1.5m) but can improve to smooth to slight(0.5m-1.2m) from late Tuesday.  There will be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
