Hazy and breezy conditions would continue across St. Vincent & the Grenadines over the next 24 hours. Models suggest that the upper level environment would remain less favourable today (Saturday), decreasing the chances for any significant showers. Another topical wave inches closer to the island chain by late Sunday and this feature would influence the weather pattern across SVG for the beginning of the week. Some occasional moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely on Monday and Tuesday.

Moderate to strong (20km/h-40km/h) trades will persist over the next 12 hours, flowing predominantly from the east, becoming east north east (ENE) on occasions.  Wind speeds should become moderate(~25km/h) by Monday.

Currently swells are peaking near 3.0m on the eastern coasts and near 2.0m on the western coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to continue to exercise extreme caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds under reduced visibility due to dust haze. Slight to moderate(1.2m-2.0m) may return on Monday.
