Cloudy to overcast skies , moderate Saharan dust concentrations and varying volcanic ash concentrations should persist across St. Vincent & the Grenadines over the next few days. In addition, thunderstorms associated with ash clouds from explosive eruptions are highly likely. All persons are advised to exercise extreme caution and to adhere to the protocols set by the Ministry of Health with respect to poor air quality. An approaching shear-line could trigger some showers on Sunday, whereas equatorial moisture may instigate some moderate shower activity on Monday and parts of Tuesday.

Moderate to occasionally fresh(15-30km/h) east north easterly trades should cross the islands over the next 24 hours, while an east to east south easterly flow should begin from Monday with gentle to moderate(15-25km/h) wind speeds.

Seas are currently slight in open water with swells ranging peaking at 0.5m on western coasts and up to 1.2m on eastern coasts. Seas may become slight to moderate(1.0m - 1.5m) by late Sunday. Small craft operators and other users of the sea should exercise extreme caution for reduced air quality and visibility due to volcanic ash.
