Low level moisture would continue to generate cloudy skies and trigger some passing showers as it makes an exit from our islands late Thursday. On Friday, improved conditions are likely as the moisture content is expected to reduce. A weak shearline could begin to affect the islands on Saturday, therefore occasionally cloudy skies could be accompanied at times by showers. Some additional showers can be expected across Sunday afternoon.

Strong(near 40 km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades would continue to cross the islands within this forecast period. Seas would be affected and are forecast to be moderate to rough in open waters. Currently, seas on western coasts are peaking up to 1.5m while on eastern coasts, swell heights range between 2.6m to 3.0m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds. No significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated within the next few days.
