Weather Outlook 23rd November 2021 (6 pm)

Low to mid-level moisture is presently over our area and will continue to generate occasional light to moderate showers. However, by late tomorrow, model guidance suggests a deterioration in weather conditions due to an increase in moisture and a favorable mid to upper atmosphere. Rainfall activity is expected to increase with pockets of moderate to heavy showers with the chance of thunderstorm activity. These conditions are anticipated over the weekend in varying intensity as instability continues to linger.

Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides and near rivers or streams are advised to be alert during the upcoming days. The SVG Meteorological Service will provide updates and/or issue advisories as necessary.

Light to gentle (10-25 km/h) east northeast to east winds with higher gusts near showers can be expected in the upcoming days.

Seas conditions will remain slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking up to 1.0 on western coasts and 1.5 meters on eastern coasts.
