Lingering moisture associated with a recent tropical wave may allow for some occasional showers heading into Wednesday. Apart from a few isolated showers, partly cloudy conditions should persist as a weak ridge pattern begins to build across the island chain by mid-afternoon Wednesday. A few early morning isolated showers are likely on Thursday. Weak pulses may generate occasionally cloudy skies on Friday accompanied with light showers.

Gentle to moderate (~15 -25 km/h) east to east north easterly (ENE) trades will move across the islands tonight, increasing to fresh and occasionally strong(~25 - 40km/h) from tomorrow onward.

Slight to moderate sea conditions with swells peaking to 1.2m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts are forecast during the next 12 hours but may become moderate(1.5m -2.0m) as winds speeds increase from Wednesday. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells.

Saharan dust intrusion will begin tonight, gradually increasing in concentration towards the end of the week.
