Cloudy skies are expected to persist as remnants of a trough affect the islands. The upper-level environment remains quite supportive and would allow for occasional pockets of moderate showers interrupting relatively fair conditions between now and Sunday. Unstable conditions are expected to affect the islands again by late Monday and along Tuesday. Due to the already saturated nature of soils, flash flood watches and/or warnings may be issued in the upcoming days, residents and motorists in areas prone to flash-flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should be prepared!

Gentle to moderate (10-25km/h) east south easterly trades will cross the islands becoming temporarily east north easterly during Sunday Morning. An increase (20-30km/h) in speed is expected from Monday. Seas are slight to moderate (1.0m-1.5m) in open water but should increase (1.5-2.0m) by Monday night. Saharan dust haze should be noticeable from Monday.
