Mostly fair conditions will prevail today (Sunday) with a dusty Saharan air mass across the  islands. Model guidance indicates that this mass of slight to moderate haze intruson will continue to add to an already dry environment, with a decrease expected along Tuesday, limiting shower activity. Residents and small craft operators are asked to exercise caution due to reduce air quality and visibility.

By Tuesday, an upper level trough will be across the region, increasing the chance of a few showers Tuesday night, and a few cloudy periods with scattered showers around Wednesday. A dry mid level environment could limit shower activity. Moderate easterly trades at 15km/h to 30km/h are expected, backing to east north east on occasion. Slight decrease in wind speeds are expected Tuesday into Wednesday at approximately 25km/h. Seas will be slight to moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.0m-2.0m.
