An upper level trough is providing support to unstable surface conditions that linger across our islands. Occsasional cloudy skies and showers with varying intensities are likely to occur within the next 3 days. Relatively fairer conditions should return around Friday when the Atlantic high pressure system is expected to regain dominance.

Gentle to moderate(15-30km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. A slight increase(~35km/h) is expected on Thursday with a temporary shift in direction to east south easterly. Seas should remain moderate in open water with swells peaking up to 1.5 m on western coasts and near to 2.0m on eastern coasts. Sea bathers and small craft operators should continue to exercise caution near the shoreline for breaking wave action and rip currents especially on eastern and northern coasts. No significant dust haze instrusion is anticipated within the next 3 days.
