The Atlantic high pressure system should allow for relatively fair conditions across our islands within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, a south-eastward moving shearline could trigger a few showers across our islands from late Friday. Unstable conditions associated with this feature are expected to persist into early Sunday.
Moderate to fresh (20-30km/h) easterly to east south easterly trades will cross the islands within the next 48 hours. A slight decrease (~15-25km/h) is expected on Sunday with a shift in direction to east south easterly. Seas will be moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5m on western coasts and ranging between 2.0m to to 2.5m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. In addition, no significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated during this forecast period.
