Unstable conditions associated with the passage of a tropical wave resulted in pockets of moderate to heavy showers across St. Vincent and the Grenadines during the earlier hours of this morning.  However, by mid- morning, improvements in the weather conditions with mainly partly cloudy skies were noticeable.

By Thursday, unstable conditions being enhanced by a favorable mid to upper level atmosphere are expected to generate an increase in shower activity across the region including SVG. These conditions are expected to persist into the weekend.

East south-easterly to East south-easterly winds ranging between 15 to 35 km/h (9 to 22 mph) are expected during the next 72 hours.

Moderate sea swells are expected with swells peaking near 2.0 meters (7.0 feet)
