A weak ridge of high pressure will be the dominant feature across the area tonight generating fair to occasionally cloudy skies and a few scattered showers.

Tomorrow, a trough will affect mostly St Lucia, Martinique and Dominica. Due to the east north easterly wind flow SVG can experience a few scattered showers from this trough interchanging with some fair and hazy conditions. By late evening model analysis depicts moisture over the Grenadines associated with the northward migration of the Inter tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). By Thursday, model guidance is indicating that this northward migration will result in an increase in shower activity across SVG. Possible isolated thunderstorms are likely around Thursday night, and further instability can result in occasional showers on Friday, increasing towards evening.

East north easterly to easterly (ENE-E) winds at 15km/h to 35km/h will continue into tonight, decreasing by tomorrow and becoming east to east south-easterly (E-ESE) at 15km/h to 25km/h around Thursday into Friday. Sea conditions are forecast to be moderate (2.0m-2.5m) in open waters tonight, becoming slight to moderate (1.2m- 1.8m) from tomorrow towards this forecast end. Haze intrusion will continue to reduce visibility. A thinning out of the intrusion is expected around Thursday.
