A stream of convective low level clouds between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados produced some afternoon showers with thunderstorms across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).  Similar conditions are forecast for tonight ahead of an approaching tropical wave.  

By tomorrow afternoon, shower activity is forecast to increase, lasting into Thursday. After which, instability will continue to dominate the weather pattern as a low level trough begins to affect the islands around Friday.

Predominantly, north-easterly winds (10km/h -25km/h) will prevail from tonight, becoming 5km/h by Thursday morning and blowing from the south east by Thursday afternoon. In addition, an east to east north-easterly wind flow is forecast by Friday afternoon.

Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water (1.0m- 1.5m), becoming generally slight (1.0m-1.2m) from tomorrow evening towards forecast end. There is no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
