The Atlantic high pressure system will continue to generate brisk trade winds across the region. However, a few weak pulses/troughs will occasionally cross the island chain and increase the chance of some showers. One such trough is forecast to generate some showers mainly during the predawn hours into Saturday. Another trough will result in a few scattered showers around late Sunday night. Monday is forecast to be mostly fair.

An east north- easterly wind flow (30km/h -40km/h with higher gust near showers) will continue to move across the island chain over the weekend. Sea conditions will be generally moderate on the east coast (2.5m). Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. An improvement will be noticeable on the west coast over the weekend with swells peaking to 1.0m - 1.5m. Slight haze intrusion may limit visibility on Monday.
