Moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to spread across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines tonight into tomorrow. Residents and motorist are asked to exercise caution for possible flash-flooding over the next few days. In addition, gusty winds are likely near showers, and loose objects can be hazardous.

The unstable conditions from tonight into tomorrow are associated with lingering moisture from a tropical wave coupled with moisture from the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and a favourable upper level environment. Similar weather conditions are forecast for Wednesday.

Another tropical wave will be affecting the islands around late Wednesday night into Thursday resulting in some scattered showers.

Winds will be generally from the east south east tonight, becoming fresh on occasions. An east north east to north easterly flow (ENE-NE) form tomorrow evening  into Wednesday and Thursday is anticipated with wind speeds being generally moderate ( 20km/h-35km/h) and gusty on occasions.

Sea conditions will remain moderate in open waters with swells peaking to 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds. General slight sea conditions (1.0-1.2m) are likely to return around Thursday.

There will be no significant haze intrusion tomorrow; however, slight intrusion will become visible on Wednesday.
