Slightly hazy conditions with isolated showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight. Generally fair conditions are expected Wednesday, but isolated showers with thunderstorm activity are also possible. A thin film of haze could persist until late Thursday, when weak instability associated with ‘Tropical Storm Teddy’ could trigger a few showers across our islands. Cloudiness could increase late Friday, with more showers and thunderstorms during Saturday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (~’20 – 35 km/h) east north-easterly breeze are expected tonight, gradually decreasing to moderate (~’20 – 30 km/h) breeze on Wednesday and further to gentle
breeze by Thursday. A Light wind-flow from the south-east is expected during Friday, becoming calm at times.
Sea-conditions on western coasts are slight (near 1.0 m) and eastern coasts are slight to moderate (near 1.5 m), with east north-easterly swells. Due to the passage of ‘Teddy‘ in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, large swells are expected by late Wednesday...Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution as swells could peak near 2.5 m on eastern coasts. Swell heights should start falling Thursday night, but possibly rising again on Saturday with northerly swells.
