Dry and breezy conditions are likely to persist across St. Vincent & the Grenadines (SVG) late evening Wednesday followed by an increase in cloud cover and a few showers. Occasionally cloudy skies are quite possible during the earlier parts of Friday and Saturday as weak low-level pulses cross the island chain. These pulses(shallow areas of instability embedded within the wind flow) can instigate light to moderate showers.

Fresh to strong (30-45 km/h) east north-easterly trades are anticipated across our islands within the next 48 hours, becoming generally fresh(near 35 km/h) and easterly by late Saturday.

Currently, seas are moderate on western coasts, ranging between 1.5 m – 2.0 m and rough on eastern coasts, ranging between 2.5 m – 3.2. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should be prepared for above normal sea swells and gusty winds and exercise extreme caution. Generally moderate (1.5m -2.0m) conditions are possible on Saturday.
