Fair to partly cloudy skies with brief isolated showers and hazy conditions are forecast across SVG for today and Saturday. An increase in cloud cover and some showers are likely around Sunday due to a surge of low level moisture across the region.
Winds will blow from the east north east to east (ENE-E) at 15km/h -30km/h during the next 72 hours period. In addition, seas will remain slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 0.5m on the western coasts 1.5m on the eastern coasts, with northerly swells. An increase to 2.0m on the eastern coasts is possible from Sunday night. Also, Saharan dust will continue to affect the islands reducing visibility and air quality.
