Wake-clouds moving across St. Vincent could trigger a few showers and isolated thunderstorms across our islands tonight. Moderate haze across our area is thinning-out, becoming slight by late Thursday and the chance for a few scattered showers increases across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Weak unstable conditions could
maintain occasional showers and thunderstorms during Friday and Saturday. Negligible haze, with very good visibility is possible Saturday.
Moderate to occasionally fresh (20 – 35 km/h) east south-easterly wind-flow could gradually decrease to gentle (near 15 km/h) breeze by Friday night.
Sea-conditions in open water; are slight (near 1.2 m) on the west of SVG and moderate (near 1.8 m) on the east of SVG with northerly long-period waves along the shores of SVG, which could cause life-threatening surf and dangerous rip currents…Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise extreme caution. Swell heights are expected to gradually fall, ranging 0.5 to 1.0 m on the west and near 1.2 m on east of SVG by Saturday afternoon, with easterly swells.
