An existing upper-level jet stream coupled with low-level instability should contribute to cloudy skies across SVG within the next 24 hour. In addition, this should be accompanied by breezy conditions and light to moderate shower activity. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should remain alert. Moisture patches associated with the area of instability are expected to linger across the island chain over the next few days allowing for occasional showers.

Moderate to fresh (25-35km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades will move across the islands within the next 3 days. These wind speeds would have implications on sea conditions which are currently moderate in open water. Swells are expected to peak up to 1.5 on western coasts, whereas on eastern coasts, swell heights may range between 2.2m to 2.5m. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells and occasional gusty winds . Saharan dust haze concentrations of varying intensities may be visible across the islands but could begin to thin out by early Tuesday
