A high-pressure system will remain the dominant feature across SVG during the next 24 to 36 hours. As a result, occasional cloudy skies with a few brief showers over parts of the islands during the period is expected.However, by Tuesday, an increase in atmospheric moisture coupled with a favorable upper-level environment is predicted to gradually increase rainfall activity across the Southern Windward Islands including SVG. Pockets of moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorm activity can be expected though Thursday. Due to the likelihood of flash-flooding, weather advisories may be issued in the upcoming days. The SVG Meteorological Service will continue to provide the necessary updates. Meanwhile, wind speed will continue to range between 10 to 25 km/h and from a north-easterly direction.
