Fair to occasionally cloudy skies with a few brief showers are forecast within the next 24 - 48 hours across SVG as The Atlantic high pressure system rebuilds and dominates. A weak tropical wave is forecast around late Saturday and this could trigger a few showers into Sunday. Varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze are anticipated within the next 3 days.

Strong(near 40 km/h) east south easterly to east north easterly trades will move across the islands within the next 24 hours.  Wind speeds should gradually decrease(15-25km/h) and become easterly by Saturday. Seas are slight to moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts, and ranging between 2.0m to 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells especially on eastern coasts. Sea conditions could improve as early as Saturday when wind speeds decrease.
