Weather Outlook- 31st July 2022 (6 pm)
A gradual decrease in moisture is taking place across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, reducing the chance of shower activity. A few brief showers are expected tonight and on Monday morning before some fair conditions set in as a ridge of high pressure regains dominance across the region. Isolated showers are forecast from Tuesday, and moisture content will once again increase on Wednesday resulting in some occasional showers mainly across the Grenadines.
Moderate winds will blow from the east northeast (ENE) veering to east (E) at approximately 20km/h- 35 km/h allowing for breezy conditions.
Seas became agitated on the eastern coasts due to previous strong to near gale force winds, and swells will still peak at 2.5m tonight. Therefore, small craft operators and sea bathers are asked to continue to exercise caution. A gradual improvement is expected, and swells are forecast to range between 0.5m-1.0m on the western coasts and peak at 2.0m on the eastern coasts from Monday.
In addition, haze intrusion is forecast to decrease gradually in thickness from Monday.
