The tail end of a tropical wave will continue to affect our islands this afternoon and cloudy to overcast skies are anticipated accompanied by showers and isolated thunderstorm activity. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution. Instability trailing this wave is expected to generate occasional cloudy skies and trigger a few shower patches during the early parts of Monday before a ridge rebuilds by evening. Relatively fair conditions could be interrupted by sporadic light showers on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gentle to moderate(20-30km/h) south easterly trades will cross the island chain this afternoon with higher gusts near showers. This south easterly flow is expected to continue until late Monday then shift to north easterly while speeds slightly increase(near 35km/h). Seas are  slight on western coasts peaking near 1.0m and moderate on eastern coasts ranging between to 2.0m to 2.3m. A plume of Saharan dust is also expected around the Eastern Caribbean around Tuesday.
