Some scattered moderate showers are likely tonight with a few scattered showers forecast for Monday. Instability will linger into Tuesday where cloudy skies and showers can be expected. Model guidance indicates that as ample moisture moves across the island chain, heavy showers are likely around Tuesday night into Wednesday with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists are asked to be alert.

Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers lingering into early Tuesday.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a high chance of showers possibly intensifying with isolated thunderstorms during the night into Wednesday morning. 

Wednesday: Cloudy and slightly hazy with a high chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms becoming partly cloudy with some scattered showers.

Winds will blow generally from the east northeast to east (ENE-E) at 15km/h - 30 km/h with possible higher gusts near showers. Seas are forecast to be slight  to moderate in open waters, with swells peaking at 1.0m on the western coasts and ranging between 1.5m - 2.0m on the eastern coasts. In addition, slight haze intrusion is possible around Tuesday night/Wednesday and could inhibit showers indicated by the models.
