As surface to low-level instability continues to affect our islands, some isolated showers are expected across Tuesday evening. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides and near rivers and streams should remain alert. From nightfall into Wednesday some pockets of moderate showers are also anticipated. The chance of intense showers decreases from late Wednesday as a ridge pattern is expected to rebuild and dominate the weather pattern. Therefore, relatively fairer conditions mixed with light intermittent showers are expected.
Moderate to fresh(20-35km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are anticipated within the next three days. Seas are generally moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.5 on western coasts and up to 2.5 on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. Sea conditions may temporarily improve late Wednesday into Thursday. IN addition, varying concentrations of Saharan dust haze will continue to cross the islands during this forecast period.
