A few moisture patches will cross our islands under breezy conditions and this would instigate some brisk passing showers. In addition, an eastward moving shearline should generate occasional cloudy conditions across Monday and during earlier parts of Tuesday. As Wednesday progresses relatively fair conditions are anticipated. No significant Saharan dust haze intrusion is expected during this forecast period.

Moderate to fresh (20-35km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades are currently crossing our islands. A temporary decrease (20-30km/h) is forecast on Monday and Tuesday before speeds revert midweek. Seas will be moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.5m-2.0m on the western coasts and 2.0m- 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for above-normal sea swells. Swell heights may rise late Tuesday, causing sea conditions to further deteriorate on Wednesday, therefore all marine users should be prepared.
