Occasional light to moderate showers are forecast across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines this evening (Sunday) into tonight as a low level trough continues to affect the region. Also, moderate showers are forecast mainly from Monday afternoon into Monday night as another trough affects the islands. After which, the chance of shower activity decreases, however, by Tuesday night into Wednesday, a tropical wave that has a low chance of cyclone development coupled with an upper level trough will generate showers and isolated thunderstorms across SVG.
Moderate trade winds (15km/h-30km/h) will generally flow across the islands, blowing predominantly from the East South East (ESE), becoming mostly easterly trades on Tuesday. Ahead of the tropical wave on Tuesday night, east north easterly winds (ENE) are anticipated, becoming mostly from the east south east around Wednesday night behind of the wave.
Slight to moderate sea conditions are forecast (1.0m on the western coasts, 1.5m on the eastern coasts), with possible slight deterioration from Wednesday evening. In addition, there will be no significant haze intrusion during this forecast period.
