The atmosphere will be relatively moist across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the next few days. Lingering instability from the upper level trough and southerly wind flow at the surface will continue to affect SVG tonight. Showers are likely to decrease on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, a tropical wave and further unstable conditions should be affecting the islands. Model guidance is indicating roughly 30mm-40mm of rainfall by Thursday night.
Monday night: Chance of light to moderate showers and possible isolated thunderstorms as an upper level trough and a southerly wind flow continue to influence the weather pattern across the island.
Tuesday: Moderate to high chance of a few scattered showers, possibly increasing towards the night due to the tropical wave.
Wednesday: High chance of occasional showers as the tropical wave moves across the islands.
Thursday: Showers and isolated thunderstorms activity is expected as instability moves across SVG.
Winds will become generally easterly at 20km/h - 30 km/h. Seas should become moderate in open waters with swells ranging between 1.0m-1.5m on the western coasts and peaking at 2.2m on the eastern coasts.
In addition, there should be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
