Moisture embedded within predominantly easterly trades will move across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines this morning resulting in scattered showers. Showers are forecast to increase by tonight into Tuesday as low level instability moves across the islands under favourable mid to upper levels. Instability is forecast to linger into Wednesday. Model guidance is indicating 60 mm of rainfall over a 3 day period across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Monday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, and breezy at times with some scattered showers, becoming mostly cloudy with showers into the night.
Tuesday: Generally cloudy with showers and chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Winds will blow generally from the east at 20km/h - 30 km/h, veering to east south east (ESE) at times, and becoming east to east north east (E-ENE) from Tuesday into Wednesday. Seas are forecast to be moderate in open waters with swells peaking at 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.5m on the eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bather should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. In addition, there should be no significant haze intrusion within this forecast period.
