Weak unstable conditions will generate occasional cloudy skies and a few showers across SVG within the next 24 hours. The chance of moderate showers increases along Saturday evening into Sunday as a weak shearline affects our islands. Residents should remain alert. By Monday, a ridge pattern should emerge and relatively fair conditions are anticipated.
Light and gentle (<15km/h) easterly to east north easterly trades are crossing our islands. Wind speeds should increase (15-25km/h) and shift to east south easterly from Saturday. By Sunday, fresh (~30km/h) north easterly trades should be across our area. Seas are slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.0m on western coasts and near 1.8m on eastern coasts. Swell heights could decrease by Sunday before deteriorating along Monday. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution for above normal sea swells. In addition, varying Saharan dust haze concentrations should cross our islands from Sunday.
