Low level moisture remains elevated as a trough affects the islands tonight into tomorrow, generating occasional cloudy periods and some scattered showers.
The Central Atlantic high pressure system will begin to build across the region around Friday afternoon, and some fair conditions are forecast for Saturday. Some scattered showers are likely over the Grenadines around Sunday.
Easterly trades between 20km/h – 40km/h will move across the islands becoming East South-East on occasions. Moderate to rough sea conditions with swells peaking to 2.5m will persist over the next few days. Therefore an advisory to exercise caution will remain in effect. Haze intrusion continues to thin out over the next few days.
In addition, a tropical wave previously analyzed along 39/40W south of 6N moving westwards at approximately 12mph is expected to reach the Guianas by late Friday.
